A
rotary tool trims dogs toenails effectively and efficiently making
routine pedicures easy and safe. Common toenail clippers operate by the
pressure of two blades squeezed together to cut through the nail. With
clippers it’s easy to cut off too much nail and cause the quick to
bleed, whereas a rotary tool files the toe nail without bringing
pressure to bear on the dog’s toe or suddenly chopping off too much.
Using a rotary tool we can better control of how much of the toenail
gets removed and we are able to round the nails… so no more sharp edges.
We
recommend having your dogs nail trimmed every 6-8 weeks to maintain
short nails. The more frequently you have your dogs nails trimmed, the
shorter we can get them.
The
cost for a toe nail trim is $10. We do toe nail trims as walk ins
only. You can bring your dogs in anytime during our regular business
hours EXCEPT during nap time, which is 11:00am-1:30pm Monday through
Saturday.
