Required vaccines include DHLPPV (Distemper Combo), Bordetella and applicable rabies requirements. Puppy eligibility begins after the second DHLPPV puppy vaccination, provided all other health and vaccine requirements are met; puppies must continue their veterinarian-directed vaccination schedule. Follow Michigan rabies requirements and your veterinarian's guidance. The initial Bordetella vaccination must be in your dog's system for two weeks before attendance; this initial waiting period is distinct from routine boosters. Follow your veterinarian's recommendations for Bordetella booster frequency and whether canine influenza vaccination is appropriate. Provide updated vaccination records every 12 months; this does not mean every vaccine must be administered annually. Medical exceptions require manager approval.
