To help protect every guest, review these admission requirements before your first visit. Begin the UNLEASHED-ready process at least two weeks before anticipated care. Puppy eligibility begins after the second DHLPPV puppy vaccination, provided all other health and vaccine requirements are met. There is no fixed two-month minimum age. Puppies must continue their veterinarian-directed vaccination schedule. Dogs nine months and older must be spayed/neutered unless an approved exception applies. Females in heat cannot attend daycare. Boarding dogs must meet group-daycare eligibility requirements. Required canine vaccines include DHLPPV, Bordetella, and applicable rabies requirements. Provide your Rabies Certificate and vaccination records. Rabies vaccination must comply with Michigan requirements and your veterinarian’s guidance; six months is not a universal state deadline. Follow your veterinarian’s recommendations for Bordetella boosters and whether canine influenza vaccination is appropriate. Initial Bordetella vaccination must be in the dog’s system for at least two weeks before evaluation or attendance; distinguish this initial waiting period from routine boosters. Initial dose schedules depend on the vaccine formulation and veterinary guidance. Provide updated vaccination records every 12 months; this does not mean every vaccine is administered annually. Owners must certify good health and no communicable condition in the previous 30 days. Pets with a communicable condition during that period need a veterinarian’s health certificate before admission or return. Pets must be non-aggressive and must not guard food or toys; owners must disclose any harmful or threatening behavior. Nail trims and self-serve wash do not require an evaluation.

We continue monitoring comfort and behavior during visits and discuss concerns with you at pickup.
